Pulse of the City tells the story of Rotterdam in terms of the rhythmical characteristics of various parts of that city. Each time of the day and each place has it's own beat. The main character, who enters the city like a stranger, takes on many roles, changing like a chameleon.
The general story mainly evolved through dialogue between Eef de Graaf and myself, based on a basic scenario that I wrote. Later the Composer and musician Michel BAM Greens came with his input.
