Created for a group of students at the Bridgeport Regional Center for the Arts, Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA in 1990. It being a ghetto area, a major incentive was to simply get the kids off the street. In my group, most of the participants had no or little experience with dance. It was a challenge to make something that worked for them. They were great kids!
